Kings Park School is a newly established independent specialist provision for children and young people aged 7 to 16, based in Ashford, Kent. We provide full-time co-educational support for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Kings Park School is seeking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant.

We are looking for someone who can support pupils, parents, teachers and the wider school community to create a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping pupils make meaningful academic and personal progress.

The successful candidate will be confident in supporting targeted interventions to develop pupils’ core functional skills, particularly in phonics, English and mathematics. This includes delivering structured phonics programmes, reinforcing early reading and writing skills, and supporting pupils to build confidence in numeracy through practical, accessible approaches. You will be able to adapt activities to meet a wide range of learning needs, ensuring that all pupils can engage, make progress and experience success in their learning.
