Full-Time Mathematics Teacher

Are you an enthusiastic, creative and compassionate teacher who wants to make a real difference in young people’s lives? The Enterprise Learning Alliance (ELA) is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Mathematics Teacher to join our vibrant, supportive, and forward-thinking team.

About the Role

We are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner who can deliver high-quality teaching across Mathematics and Food, as well as lead inspiring enrichment sessions for small groups of pupils. Our learners have a diverse range of emotional, social and educational needs, so we are seeking someone who is adaptable, empathetic and genuinely committed to helping every pupil succeed.

Why Join the ELA?

At the Enterprise Learning Alliance, our mission is simple:
We want every pupil to be happy, supported, challenged, and equipped to reach their full potential.

We understand that our pupils often arrive facing a range of barriers to learning. That’s why our curriculum and provision go far beyond the classroom, offering enriching experiences that support personal development and confidence building. We strive to ensure that all young people:

  • Learn new skills and deepen their knowledge across a broad curriculum.
  • Are empowered to develop both culturally and academically, preparing them for positive future destinations.
  • Achieve strong outcomes across a variety of qualifications, opening meaningful pathways forward.

Our teaching team is experienced, committed and passionate about transforming lives. Supported by energetic leadership and a clear vision for excellence, the ELA—rated GOOD by Ofsted—is determined to move confidently toward becoming an Outstanding school.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from teachers who:

  • Are skilled, engaging and reflective classroom practitioners.
  • Have experience teaching a range of subjects to secondary‑aged pupils, up to Level 2.
  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification (DTLLS/PGCE), ideally with QTS/QTLS status.
  • Are motivated to inspire vulnerable learners and close gaps in progress.

Staff Wellbeing & Professional Development

Staff wellbeing is at the heart of our culture. We have an active Wellbeing Committee that organises events, activities, and staff support initiatives—while also helping shape improvements to the working environment. We have also recently appointed a Mental Health and Wellbeing Lead dedicated to supporting both staff and pupils.

We invest in our people. Staff benefit from high‑quality, personalised CPD delivered through a blend of internal expertise and external providers.

Safeguarding

The ELA is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All posts are subject to satisfactory references and enhanced DBS/CRB checks.
