Are you passionate about creativity, community engagement, and powerful communication?

As a Community and Creative Trustee, you’ll play a vital role in shaping how our Trust connects with families, staff, stakeholders, and the wider community. This role champions storytelling, celebrates successes, and ensures our message reaches and resonates with those we serve.

By joining us, you’ll help strengthen our organisation’s identity, visibility, and community relationships, all while supporting our mission to transform the life chances of young people.

 

As a Community and Creative Trustee You Will:

Champion Communication & Engagement - Use your insight to help shape the Trust’s communication strategy, ensuring our achievements, values, and vision are shared clearly, consistently, and creatively.

Develop Board-Level Skills - Engage in strategic discussions about branding, digital presence, public engagement, and reputation management. It’s an excellent opportunity to grow your professional skillset and contribute at board level.

Build Community Connections - Help foster meaningful relationships between the Trust, its schools, and their communities. Your work will contribute directly to a stronger, more connected environment for students, staff, and families.

Support, Challenge & Inspire - Use your marketing or creative expertise to offer constructive challenge, inspire new ideas, and support the Trust’s efforts to improve and evolve its communications.

Promote Diverse Perspectives - Bring your unique viewpoint, creativity, and lived experience to decision‑making. We value diverse voices, and your contributions will help shape inclusive, accessible communication for all.

You don’t need to be an expert in education — just passionate about communication, creativity, and community impact. Trustees are appointed based on skills, commitment, and values. The most important qualities we’re seeking are:
