We are looking to appoint a Lunchtime Play Supervisor to become part of our team. The position is Monday to Friday, from 11.30am to 1.30pm, 10 hours per week (term time only). We are looking for a person who:

  • loves being around children
  • is enthusiastic
  • is energetic
  • is able to form good relationships with children, staff and parents
  • is an excellent team member

Information about the school

St John’s Catholic Primary School is a Catholic primary academy and part of the Kent Catholic Schools’ Partnership (KCSP), a multi-academy trust (MAT) established by the Archdiocese of Southwark for Catholic education across Kent. Currently a MAT comprising 32 academies (27 primary and 5 secondary).

St John’s is a four-form entry primary academy located in Gravesend, serving the Parish of St John the Evangelist and the local area.

St John’s is an inclusive academy. Its dedicated staff, helpers and governance committee members work hard to ensure that every student is supported and challenged to be their very best. Each individual is encouraged to grow spiritually and intellectually, so that unique and positive contributions can be made to society and the world. Its most recent denominational inspection in November 2022 judged it as ‘Good’ and its most recent Ofsted inspection in October 2023 judged the academy to be ‘Good’.
