We are currently looking for an enthusiastic class teacher, who would like to join our team and our fantastic children on their learning journey.

Information about the school

Sutton-at-Hone is a Church of England Primary School and is part of the Aletheia Academy Trust. Our school vision is: We are God's family - learning together, loving together, growing together - striving to be the best we can be, for ourselves, for God and for others.

The school was built in the 1970s and is situated on the southern outskirts of Dartford. It occupies a very pleasant site near the Ancient Church in the Village just off the A225.

We are a good school and we aspire to be outstanding. We have a supportive and friendly team of school leaders, teaching staff, support staff and governors who, together, are committed to achieving this aspirational goal and to continue in our drive to raise standards. We believe in nurturing and developing our staff, supporting them to achieve their goals and career progression, through peer support, coaching and CPD.

We are a two-form entry school with 14 classrooms an ICT suite, breakfast and after school club and a swimming pool. We have a forest school and plenty of outdoor space.
