We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly capable Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our friendly, caring and dedicated team.

This role will predominantly support and lead learning in Early Years and Key Stage 1, covering classes where required. The successful candidate will confidently lead whole-class learning, plan engaging and purposeful lessons, and provide effective feedback to pupils to ensure strong progress.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Demonstrates patience, humour, initiative and flexibility when working as part of a team

  • Has strong English and Mathematics skills

  • Is confident and competent in the use of technology

  • Maintains a calm, caring and nurturing approach

  • Is committed to continually developing their skills to meet the changing needs of pupils

  • Has experience of leading learning at whole-class level (essential)

This role would suit someone who may be considering a future in teaching, or an experienced practitioner looking to take on a dynamic and rewarding HLTA position.

The successful candidate will have high expectations, a relentless focus on achieving excellent outcomes for all children, and a strong commitment to the inclusive, Christian ethos of the school.
