We are looking for an experienced and passionate Speech & Language Therapist to join our team and lead our whole‑school communication provision.

You will play a key role in shaping and delivering an evidence based Speech & Language Therapy strategy across the school. You will provide expert assessment and intervention for children with a range of communication needs, while leading and supporting a team of therapists and therapy assistants.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the development and delivery of our whole‑school Speech & Language Therapy strategy
  • Providing specialist assessment, diagnosis, intervention and evaluation for pupils
  • Coordinating and supervising therapy staff, ensuring high‑quality practice
  • Delivering staff training and coaching across pathways
  • Working closely with teaching staff, families and external agencies to embed communication support throughout the school day
  • Contributing to EHCPs, multidisciplinary planning and wider school improvement

What we’re looking for:

  • RCSLT‑recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree and HCPC registration
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a therapist
  • Strong background working with children and young people with SEND
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
  • Confidence in delivering staff training and working collaboratively across teams
  • A flexible, child‑centred, reflective practitioner
