Following a period of significant strategic development and growth, we are seeking an exceptional leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Assistant Headteacher - Achievement.

About the Role

Working alongside the Deputy Headteacher you will lead the strategic development and operational implementation of achievement across the academy, ensuring:

  • Strong and sustained academic outcomes at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • High expectations and challenge for all learners.
  • Effective assessment systems that inform teaching and accelerate progress.
  • Closing of gaps between pupil groups through high-quality teaching and targeted support.
  • Clear accountability structures that empower middle leaders.
  • Raising standards strategies that are precise, coherent and impactful.

This role is about securing excellence, not through pressure, but through clarity, consistency and collective efficacy.

New Line Learning Academy is a good school in the heart of Loose, Maidstone with over 900 pupils aged 11 to 16. New Line Learning are committed to the delivering the highest standard of education for the young people in our care.
