Teacher of Science (with Health & Social Care)

At St George’s Church of England Foundation School, we proudly offer Biology, Chemistry and Physics as three separate sciences at GCSE, ensuring strong subject depth, specialist teaching and academic rigour. We are seeking a Science specialist (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) who can also teach Health & Social Care at KS4 and KS5.

Your role

  • Teach your Science specialism across KS3 and KS4 (separate sciences at GCSE)

  • Teach Health & Social Care at KS4 and KS5

  • Contribute to curriculum development

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress

  • Embed our Christian and inclusive ethos in your practice

What we’re looking for

  • A relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification

  • Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry or Physics

  • Ability to teach Health & Social Care

  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

  • Commitment to our inclusive Christian community
