Leigh Academies Trust has an exciting opportunity to appoint an Admissions Officer to support Leigh Academy Hugh Christie and Leigh Academy Mascalls. This pivotal role will be central to the smooth and efficient operation of the admissions process across both academies, ensuring a positive and seamless experience for prospective students and their families.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic team player, committed to providing excellent service on behalf of the Trust to the academy and above all else have a positive work ethic and can-do attitude.

You will become a valued member of a dynamic team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all admissions-related inquiries. A personable and professional demeanor is crucial in this customer-facing position, which necessitates close collaboration with various stakeholders, including Senior Leadership Teams, colleagues, the Local Authority, and parents. Furthermore, the academy is committed to fostering professional development opportunities and encourages ongoing collaboration among team members throughout the academic year.

Our Ofsted report from October 2023 confirms that our quality of education, Personal development, leadership and management and sixth form provision are all good. Pupils have a range of opportunities to broaden their experiences. They enjoy the good-quality clubs, trips and visits that the school provides. Pupils develop leadership skills through taking on additional responsibilities. For example, sixth form students apply for roles such as ‘head students’ or ‘house champions’. Many sixth-formers use some of their free periods to support younger pupils’ learning in lessons.
