We are seeking a SEND & Inclusion Administrator to provide high-quality administrative and clerical support across our SEND and Inclusion teams. This is a vital role at the heart of the Academy, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), their families, and the professionals who work with them.

About the Role

As SEND & Inclusion Administrator, you will play a key part in ensuring that identification, assessment, monitoring, and review processes for pupils with SEND run smoothly and efficiently. You will support statutory processes, maintain accurate records, liaise with parents and external agencies, and help ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for SEND meetings, including note-taking and statutory documentation
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records for pupils with SEND
  • Prepare documentation for EHCP applications, Annual Reviews, and exceptional funding requests
  • Act as a key point of contact for parents/carers, arranging meetings and sharing information
  • Liaise with external professionals and welcome visitors to the Academy
  • Collate and manage SEND data, including progress, interventions, and monitoring information
  • Work closely with the SENDCo, SRP Lead Teacher, finance team, and wider staff

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a calm, professional manner
  • Confidence working with sensitive information and a sound understanding of GDPR
  • Experience in a school or SEND setting is desirable, but not essential

St Nicholas CE Primary Academy is situated in the heart of New Romney, surrounded by beautiful grounds and equipped with excellent resources to support its 15 classes and more than 420 pupils. Our over-subscribed and well-maintained school was judged Good with Outstanding features by Ofsted in May 2019 and again in 2024.
