We are looking for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors. The role includes general cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, washing floors, emptying bins and keeping toilets clean and well-stocked. You will also help keep the school grounds tidy and may be required to cover some basic caretaker tasks, including unlocking and locking the site, when needed.

As a keyholder, you will ensure the building is secure at the end of the day. During school holidays, you will take part in a full deep clean of the site, including window cleaning, moving furniture and refreshing all areas. You will report any defects to senior staff, follow all Health & Safety and Fire Regulations and work as part of a supportive school team. Training will be provided where required.

Key Information:

  • Hours: 10 per week, Monday–Friday
  • Term time only: 38 weeks per year
