Subject Leader of Science 

Start date: September 2026 
Salary: MPS/UPS, plus TLR1b

We are seeking an inspiring individual to lead our Science department—an environment where academic excellence, high student demand, and a culture of curiosity shape every lesson. From September 2026, new Year 12 students will follow A Level courses, with Science consistently among the most popular subjects in the Sixth Form. Year 13 students will continue in the second year of the IBDP. Many of our students progress to Science and Medicine‑related degrees, supported throughout their application journey to achieve excellent outcomes. At GCSE, all students study the three separate Sciences, and our Years 7–9 curriculum - delivered through the Middle Years Programme - promotes deep understanding through collaborative inquiry. You will be joining a dedicated and collegiate team committed to high‑quality teaching and deep scientific understanding.
