St Michael’s Prep School is currently seeking a part-time Swimming Coach to provide extra-curricular teaching, starting as soon as possible.

 The hours are initially offered to cover the lessons below which are held during St Michael's term time only (33 weeks per annum) and are subject to review and change depending on the demands of the swimming school.

Friday 3.25pm until 5.35pm

There are several opportunities to work additional sessions throughout the week supporting St Michael's swimming lessons but also local swimming clubs.

Applicants must have a minimum of the STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming or Swim England Level 2, a safeguarding certificate and preferably either the RLSS National Rescue Award for Swim Teachers and Coaches or the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. You will also have a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching.

We have recently celebrated our 150th anniversary and provide a wonderful learning environment to approximately 460 children aged 2 to 13, enjoying a beautiful location, overlooking 100 acres of land.
