Behaviour & Pastoral Support Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate, adaptable, and committed Behaviour & Pastoral Support Assistant to work closely with students with complex needs, helping them re-engage with education, develop positive behaviours, and build meaningful pathways for the future.

The Role
You will support students who require additional pastoral and behavioural support, using flexible and responsive strategies to help them overcome barriers to learning. This role is central to promoting inclusion, resilience, and long-term success.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with young people in pastoral, behaviour support, or similar settings

• A strong understanding of social, emotional, and behavioural needs

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students, families, and colleagues

• Confidence in managing challenging situations with empathy and consistency

• A genuine commitment to helping young people thrive
