St George’s Church of England Foundation School is pleased to invite applications for the role of Site Supervisor, primarily based at our Secondary site. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated Premises Team within a successful and growing all-through school.

Please note that, on occasion and to meet the operational needs of the school, the successful candidate may be required to work differing hours and across the Primary site to provide cover for colleagues.  A flexible approach is therefore essential.

The Role

As a member of the Premises Team, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.  Duties will include:

  • Assisting with the security, maintenance and cleaning of the school site
  • Undertaking routine maintenance and repairs under the direction of the Site Manager
  • Ensuring buildings and grounds comply with Health & Safety regulations
  • Preparing rooms for examinations, events, worship and lunchtime arrangements

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

  • A Level 2/3 qualification (or equivalent) and relevant job-related skills
  • Experience within a premises, caretaking or site supervision role
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and procedures
  • A proactive, flexible and team-focused approach
