Kings Hill School Primary and Nursery is a Ofsted graded 'Outstanding' school situated in Kings Hill. Kings Hill school has invested in OPAL Play which is an award-winning, mentor supported programme that is supporting us to improve the quality of our play opportunities. The OPAL scheme ensures that " better, more active and creative playtimes can mean happier and healthier children, and having happier, healthier, more active children usually results in a more positive attitude to learning in school, with more effective classroom lessons, less staff time spent resolving unnecessary behavioural problems, fewer playtime accidents, happier staff and a healthier attitude to life.”

Working as a member of the play team, you will ensure that all our children have meaningful lunchtime play every day. You will work as a member of the play team to create a safe and stimulating outdoor environment providing social, active and creative play experiences for all. The play team is also responsible for ensuring that all our children have a pleasant eating experience at lunch time, while maximising the time they can spend outside playing. You will support our children as they visit the dining hall and are responsible for clearing the tables to a state ready for use by other diners.

The successful applicant will be required to work from 11.45am to 1.30pm, Monday to Friday.

We are a very popular primary school in the heart of the Kings Hill community with 420 pupils and 60 children on roll in our Nursery.

Our school is set in 5 acres of fantastic grounds and our forward thinking approach and dedicated staff aim to provide the best education for all.

We have playing fields, wildlife and woodland areas, polytunnel, amphitheatre, netball court, football pitches, MUGA (Multi Use Games Area), all weather running track, impressive ICT suite, library, specialist music and art classroom, cookery room and a large indoor hall as well as a large adventure playground with a wide range of apparatus including a climbing wall.
