At Luddenham School, we are looking for a clerk for our board of Trustees. We are looking for a deligient person who can support and advise the board.

We are looking for:

  • Be welcoming and approachable to all Trustees and members of our school community. 
  • Have experience of working in the role or similar and use this to prepare agendas and write concise minutes.
  • Have awareness of legislation and guidance surrounding governance and provide support and guidance for Trustees.
  • Be highly organised and able to meet deadlines.
  • Be able to work as part of a team and also to take initiative and work independently.
  • Have excellent secretarial skills, proficient IT skills.
  • Have high levels of personal and professional integrity, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Have experience of working with other agencies.
  • Be willing to have the flexibility to attend full governing body meetings and committee meetings.

The working hours for this post is 4 hours per week, but with the flexibility to adjust these hours to fit around the meetings schedule.
