We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join our team to cover maternity leave. Could you be the one we are looking for? We welcome applications from ECTs as well as from experienced teachers.

Are you looking to start or continue your teaching career in a school that values teamwork and supports the development of every member of staff? Are you inspirational, passionate and committed to ensuring children can fulfil their potential? Do you want to work in a school that promotes a work-life balance and strives to reduce the typical teacher workload? Join us in delivering an exciting curriculum and enabling our children and staff to fulfil their potential!

We would like to welcome an enthusiastic professional to our small, village church school situated in a beautiful, rural setting.  We endeavour to keep our classes small in size (typically just 12 children per year group) and the school has a friendly, family atmosphere where all members of the community are supported and valued.  Our children receive a unique experience in Trottiscliffe where learning is fun.  We love taking learning outdoors and our children thrive through this approach.

We can offer:

  • well-behaved, happy and motivated children
  • a friendly, committed and supportive staff team
  • professional development and the opportunity for sharing good practice
  • a fully planned curriculum ready for teaching to reduce teacher workload
  • a unique and inspirational learning environment.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a creative teacher who is, or has the potential to be, an outstanding practioner.
  • Be a teacher who has high expectations of teaching and learning, achievement and behaviour.
  • Be a teacher with good communication skills who recognises the importance of partnerships with colleagues, parents and carers.
  • Have an excellent understanding of the curriculum

Visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged, come and have a look at what we have to offer.  Please contact our school office for further details. Tel: 01732 822803 email:office@trottiscliffe.kent.sch.uk
