About the Geography Department
Geography at The Malling School develops students’ understanding of place, environment, global issues, and interconnections in the world. We deliver an ambitious curriculum that nurtures curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.

As a Geography Teacher you will:

  • Teach Geography up to GCSE, with potential KS5 delivery depending on experience.

  • Participate in a tailored professional learning programme.

  • Engage in personalised induction, coaching, Developmental Learning Walks, and ongoing feedback.

  • Help shape and enhance a modern, ambitious Geography curriculum.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold QTS and be able to teach KS3 and GCSE (KS5 desirable).

  • Be reflective, innovative, and committed to continuous classroom improvement.

  • Demonstrate a strong record of helping students make excellent progress.

  • Be motivated to have a positive, lasting impact on young people.

  • Bring enthusiasm, subject passion, and a values-driven approach.
