Are you organised, approachable, and ready to make a difference in a vibrant school community? We are seeking an Office Administrative Assistant to join our friendly team and help ensure the smooth running of our school office.

About the Role:
You will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, providing a professional and welcoming service.

 Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (32.5 hours per week)

 Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling telephone and face-to-face enquiries
  • Managing routine administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating school systems
  • Assisting with letters, newsletters, and communications
  • Supporting ordering and distribution of office supplies
  • Ensuring confidentiality and safeguarding at all times

What We’re Looking For:

  • A good standard of education (GCSE English and Maths or equivalent)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Previous administrative experience (school setting desirable)
  • A positive, flexible attitude and commitment to safeguarding

Hartlip Endowed Church of England Primary School is a small Voluntary Aided village school situated just off the A2 between Sittingbourne and Rainham. The school can accommodate 105 pupils on roll in four classes. Our popular primary school is set in attractive village surroundings and has a small close-knit and supportive staff team.

Inspired by our founder Mary Gibbon, we are a welcoming, nurturing community, providing the opportunity for each person to recognise and fulfil their God given gifts and abilities.
