Ripplevale School is a successful Independent Special School for pupils aged between 6-18. We provide a nurturing and caring environment for pupils with ASD.

At Ripplevale School, we are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and resilient Therapist Administrator at our Upper School in Ripple, Deal for our Secondary pupils. 

This is a part-time position of 25 hours per week Monday to Friday plus 70 hours inset a year, currently after school on a Tuesday - 2 hours per week.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join and support our dedicated team of therapists. The successful candidate will play a key role in the smooth running of the service by managing day-to-day administrative tasks and acting as a first point of contact for enquiries.

Responsibilities will include handling all incoming enquiries via telephone and email and managing referrals efficiently. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively within a busy team environment.

Essential requirements include prior administration experience, confidence using office systems, and the ability to work calmly and professionally while supporting a fast-paced and demanding service.

Information about the school

Ripplevale School is an independent day SEN school for pupils aged from 6 to 18 years old who have an EHCP (Education Health Care Plan) with a diagnosis of ASD, often with associated conditions.

Ripplevale School is situated over two sites. Ripplevale Lower School is situated in Broadstairs, teaching a Primary provision and Ripplevale Upper School is based in the village of Ripple near Deal, for our Secondary and Post 16 provision.

We have a committed and dedicated team which includes teachers, teaching assistants, higher level teaching assistants, a range of therapists, administrative staff and support staff. All play a significant role in the education and development of each pupil and work to create a warm, informal, friendly atmosphere in which the pupils feel secure, safe and confident.
