We are looking to appoint a skilled Caretaker to work alongside the Site Manager at Kennington Junior Academy. This role involves supporting the Site Manager and Senior Leadership Team in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-presented school environment. There may also be opportunities to work across Kennington CE Academy and Downs View Infant School.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a sound understanding of health and safety requirements for public buildings are essential.

This is a permanent role for 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6:00am–10:00am (occasional weekend and/or afternoon work may be required, with time off in lieu). There is potential for additional hours, which can be discussed at interview, and may include work across Kennington CE Academy and Downs View Infant School.

Kennington CE Academy is 3 form entry (12 classes) for Key stage 2 of 360 pupils, situated in North Ashford and serving a mixed community of children who are enthusiastic about learning and their school.
