Exciting Opportunity: EYFS Maternity Cover Role

Are you passionate about making a real difference in early education? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced class teacher to join our team and work closely with school leadership.

This role is to provide maternity leave cover with a strong focus on EYFS and would suit someone with a solid understanding of early years practice. Knowledge and experience of statutory assessments in EYFS is essential.

  • 0.6 FTE – job share with a highly skilled and experienced team
  • Start date: 23 February 2026
  • End of contract: 19 December 2026

  • Has proven experience and in-depth knowledge of EYFS.
  • Uses a wide range of creative teaching methods to inspire and motivate children.
  • Brings energy, vision, and talent to our school.
  • Sees every child as an individual and ensures they are active learners in every lesson.
  • Demonstrates strong and effective classroom management strategies.
  • Works collaboratively as part of a team both in the classroom and across the school.
  • Contributes positively to the wider life of the school.
