We are currently seeking to appoint examinations invigilators. The successful candidates will be required to invigilate the Year 10 examinations in April 2026 and the public examinations in May/June 2026 and, wherever possible, mock examinations at other times of the year.

It is expected that any successful applicants should be available to invigilate during this examination season. Once appointed the successful candidates will be required in subsequent years.

Candidates need to be confident, patient, trustworthy, reliable and observant.  Experience is not essential as training and guidance will be provided.

Candidates will be required to attend a training day in school and an online training session prior to starting, which will take place at the end of February/beginning of March.  Payment will be made for these training sessions. 

The salary for this post will be paid on Kent Scheme B (FTE £25,126 p.a.) - £13.02 per hour. This will be a casual contract and hours of work are negotiable.

Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School is a highly respected selective Voluntary Controlled Girls’ Grammar School that places students’ academic success on a par with their wellbeing, creating a unique learning community where every individual matters. Students attending the school are aged between 11-18 years and the school has a student roll of about 1,300 students (with approx. 400 pupils in our mixed Sixth Form).
