Teaching Assistant – Supporting Specific Children in EYFS

We are seeking a professional, dedicated, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team one day per week (Fridays), supporting learning in our EYFS class. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible and will demonstrate empathy, understanding, and a nurturing approach when working with very young children.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Fun, positive, and has a great sense of humour
  • Passionate about EYFS and committed to helping children thrive
  • Experienced in working with young children (EYFS experience preferred)
  • Flexible, resilient, and able to use initiative
  • Organised with strong interpersonal skills
  • Caring, kind, and able to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents/carers
  • Determined to make a difference and believes all children can succeed

Essential requirements:

  • GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English
  • Previous experience working with young children (EYFS experience desirable)

Hours: 8:15am – 3:30pm (Fridays), term time only, with a 30-minute lunch break
Salary: KSA (Kent Range 3)
