The Federation of Shepherdswell CE and Eythorne Elvington Schools are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant at Shepherdswell CEP School to work 1:1 with Y1 child for 24 hours a week. This is a three month temporary position which may be extended if further funding is made available. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a real difference to children's development, supporting and encouraging them as they strive to achieve their goals.

Some experience working with children with Language and ASD needs in either a mainstream or a specialist setting would be an advantage for the successful candidate. A good standard of English and Maths to enable them to model and support appropriately is essential, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.

Shepherdswell C of E Primary School is committed to safeguarding children and all posts are subject to mandatory checks for safeguarding and employment.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
