Christ Church C E Junior School is seeking to employ a Clerk to the Trustees to commence in February 2026. Candidates will need to be highly organised, pro-active and self-motivated with excellent communication skills. All applicants will need excellent IT skills and have experience of recording and preparing minutes and agendas.

The Clerk acts in the role of advisor to the Board of Trustees and takes responsibility for the oversight of good governance and procedural matters, working closely with the Chair to ensure the smooth running of all meetings.  Follow up administrative duties will be undertaken off site with files being kept up to date in school, in liaison with the school secretary and Head Teacher.

The post is paid at 5 hours per week, term time only, and includes about 18 meetings each academic year.  Salary will be pro rata of £26,393.  The Clerk is expected to keep up to date with any changes in policy or procedure.
