Bromstone Primary is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community. This role will primarily be based in KS2, supporting teaching and learning across the phase; however, flexibility to work across the school is essential to meet the needs of our children.

  • Has experience or a strong interest in working in Key Stage 2

  • Understands the importance of inclusive practice, adapting learning to meet a diverse range of needs

  • Will bring energy, creativity and a genuine desire to make a difference

Contract Details

  • 31.25 hours per week

  • Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:15pm

  • Term time only

  • Fixed-term contract: 2nd February 2026 – 31st December 2026 (with the view to extend)

Bromstone is a Co-operative Foundation Primary School which believes strongly in the Co-operative ethos. As part of Thanet Endeavour Learning Trust we work in very close partnership with St Mildred’s Infant School with whom we are federated, and with Garlinge and Parkside Primary Schools. We share our Executive Headteacher with Garlinge, St Mildred’s and Parkside Schools.

Bromstone has a well-developed creative curriculum, which provides our children with exciting opportunities for learning, both in the classroom and in the wider environment. We place high value on the Arts and outdoor learning; we have an established Forest School in our grounds. Our staff are friendly, enthusiastic and very committed to providing the best education we can for our pupils. We are passionate about Bromstone and its ethos; Dream, Believe, Achieve.
