We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher, initially on a temporary contract, from January 2026 to be based in KS2 between January and August 2026. We can offer a dedicated team of staff who are committed to school improvement, professional development and the achievement of all pupils. We are staffed with caring, lively and committed professionals and provide a supportive working environment.

Excellent classroom management skills and high expectations of all pupils are essential as well as comprehensive knowledge and skills of high quality first teaching.

St Matthew's High Brooms Church of England Primary School, is a Church of England primary school in a semi-urban area of Tunbridge Wells and Southborough. We have an extensive site and large outdoor areas.

At present there are approximately 300 children on roll with some single year group classes and some mixed classes. The school serves the community of High Brooms, St John's and Southborough.

We are a happy and lively school that places the children at the heart of everything that we do. Children benefit from many opportunities and take part in the excellent range of academic, physical and creative activities that we offer, both during and after school.
