We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and conscientious Site Assistant to join our very busy school to support the Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager in ensuring that we provide a safe and secure environment for all our pupils and staff. Ideally you will have experience of working within a school environment, or have a construction or trade background, as you will be required to carry out small maintenance tasks.

The main responsibilities of this role will be to carry out caretaking duties as directed by the Site Manager as well as coordinating the Cleaning Team. These responsibilities may include porterage, undertaking small repairs and maintenance, replenishing soap etc, litter picking, and covering for absence. You will be responsible for locking up the school each day. 

We are looking to appoint someone who can work as part of a team, but equally be able to manage their own workload as there will be periods of working on your own.  

The successful candidate will ideally have relevant health and safety training, but further training and professional development opportunities will be available for the appointed candidate.
