We seek a candidate who will be warm, approachable and reliable and someone who takes pride in being the welcoming face of the school

You will be one of two part time members of staff working in our school office, therefore the successful candidate will need to demonstrate strength in working with others, but equally the confidence to work independently.

We are currently supported by Schools Financial Services, who we contract to support once a month for budget monitoring, as well as completing our budget setting.

It may be that if a candidate had experience of budget setting and monitoring, we may consider amending the job role, hours and responsibilities accordingly, should their skills mean that we need to reply less on SFS.

  • Foster strong, positive relationships with staff, parents, and external partners.
  • Support the Headteacher and senior team with communication, organisation, and school logistics.

  • Strong administrative background and excellent organisational skills.
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office and maintaining accurate records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and efficiently.
  • Understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, and data protection.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a school setting
  • Knowledge of SIMs, FMS
  • First Aid qualification (or willingness to train).

We are a small, friendly team, looking for the right person to join us. This position has become available as we are sadly saying goodbye to a longstanding member of staff retiring.

If you have any questions please give us a ring (01233 820479) to discuss the position further with the Headteacher, Rebecca Heaton. Our lovely office team, Helen and Anne, are equally happy to have a chat with any potential candidate.
