Are you passionate about making a difference in education? Leigh Academies Trust is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to play a vital role in supporting our growing 33 academies - and those joining in the future.

As a Service Delivery Manager, you'll take ownership of key responsibilities within a defined geographical area, delivering high-quality IT and Facilities services that enable our academies to thrive. By working closely with a dedicated local team of IT Managers and Facilities Manager, you'll ensure each academy maximises its resources to support the best possible educational outcomes.

You will be the key contact for each academy Principal with reference to services provided by the Infrastructure Services team, ensuring that services delivered are of the highest quality.

Whilst a background in Facilities and/or IT might be advantageous, experience of managing in a busy multi-site education environment and an ability to always put the customer first would be key qualities in our successful candidate.

Whilst working collaboratively as part of the Infrastructure Services team, each Service Delivery Manager is responsible for the delivery of services within their designated academies, supporting a small team of Cluster IT Managers and Facilities Managers.

Please note that interviews will be held on a rolling basis, so we encourage early applications to avoid missing out on this exciting opportunity.

Information about the trust

Leigh Academies Trust is one of the country’s largest and most-established multi-academy trusts operating across Kent, Medway and South East London. It contains primary, secondary and special academies and is highly inclusive and successful. Our mission is to deliver “education for a better world” by ensuring that young people in our academies have an excellent start in life regardless of their background or ability.

The Trust exists to support and assist schools to build upon their existing strengths and to help them achieve rapid educational transformation. It has significant experience in running schools, and today includes both sponsored academies and schools which have chosen to convert to Academy status.

In addition to providing high-quality educational opportunities for all of our children, aged from 2 months to 19 years, and their families, we are proud to provide many opportunities for lifelong learning. These are delivered through the organisations under our umbrella: Thames Gateway Teaching School Hub, LAT Apprenticeships and Kent and Medway Training (KMT), which delivers routes into teaching.

We warmly welcome you to Leigh Academies Trust and look forward to sharing with you our passion for transforming lives and shaping communities through great education.
