Midday Meal Supervisor — Woodchurch CEP School
Hours: 12:00–1:00pm Monday–Friday, term time only (5 hours per week)
Contract: Kent Scheme A — actual salary approx. £2,771 per annum
Start date: ASAP

We are seeking a calm, reliable and caring Midday Meal Supervisor to join our friendly team at Woodchurch CEP School and help ensure that children have a safe, calm and positive experience at lunchtime.

Main duties include:

  • Supervising pupils in the dining hall, encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction

  • Helping children with routine lunchtime tasks (opening packets, drinks etc.)

  • Cleaning and wiping tables between sittings and at the end of lunch

  • Sweeping/spot-cleaning as required

  • Following all safeguarding, health & safety and first-aid procedures (training provided)

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is reliable, punctual and available every lunchtime

  • Is calm, patient and enjoys working with young children

  • Can follow instructions and work well as part of a team

  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Desirable but not essential:

  • Previous experience working with children

  • Experience in a school or similar supervisory role
