Cornwallis are seeking a full time, permanent Teacher of Music to join our school from easter onwards. Cornwallis Academy welcomes applications from both ECTs and experienced practitioners.

We are delighted to have the rare opportunity to take on a new music teacher who loves teaching and is eager to enthuse our student through practical work. We are looking for a teacher who is excited by teaching music predominantly at Key Stage 3, however, teaching opportunities at Key Stage 4 will be considered for the right candidate. We are looking for a teacher who will bring their own positive attitude and become a trusted and valued member of the team.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Recent and relevant teaching experience
  • An inspirational Teacher of Music and Drama who can successfully motivate and inspire students.  
  • Dedicated to their own professional development.
