Salary: £27,064 (35 hours per week)

We’re looking for a positive, proactive, and dedicated Caretaker to become a valued part of our school community. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to make a difference in the daily lives of pupils and staff.

We are looking for someone who will: -

  • Be positive, adaptable and have the ability to work well within a small team.
  • Be willing to be part of a supportive school community.
  • Be happy to drive the school minibus to support school events and trips as needed and hold, or be willing to undertake training for, a D1 category licence.
  • Have a proactive approach to repairs and maintenance with a keen eye for detail
  • Understand the importance of undertaking regular routine maintenance checks, such as fire extinguishers, equipment checks and alarm monitoring.
  • Be able to contribute to projects and maintenance schedules and supervise contractors on-site.
  • Be aware of the importance of safeguarding within a school setting.
  • Be willing to attend site, outside core hours due to unforeseen circumstances or in the event of an emergency.
