We have an extremely rare and unique opportunity available at St. Andrew’s School, an Independent School in Rochester. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspirational Music Teacher to join us from April 2026 (or earlier if available)

This would be the perfect opportunity for a secondary trained teacher to gain experience with primary aged children or a primary trained teacher to specialise in the teaching of Music. The role will involve teaching all classes from EYFS to Year 6.

This is a part time, permanent role, working 21 hours per week (three full days) (all day on a Monday and Wednesday and the third day to be discussed).

As well as teaching the weekly Music lessons and leading our Junior Choir, the Music Teacher will be responsible for taking the lead at our End of Term musical celebrations, our annual Concert and House singing competition and events throughout the year. We are keen to hear new ideas for the development of Music too!
