Join Our School Family as a Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a caring, motivated, and dedicated individual to become a valued member of our school community. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where children are at the heart of everything we do.

We welcome applications from individuals who have a strong understanding of how to support teaching and learning, and who can inspire and encourage children to thrive. The role involves working with pupils both one-to-one and in small groups, supporting their learning across the curriculum. You will also lead targeted interventions to help children reach their full potential.

In addition to classroom support, the successful candidate will play an active role in breaktime and lunchtime supervision, contributing to the wellbeing and positive experiences of our pupils throughout the school day.

We can offer you:

  • well-behaved children who are eager to learn
  • an amazing environment - large, bright and airy classrooms with the latest technology
  • great outdoor space including a large field and dedicated forest school area
  • supportive, friendly and dedicated colleagues who work well together as a team
  • opportunities for professional development
  • supportive parents and governors
  • a commitment to supporting staff wellbeing

We are looking for:

  • a special person to come and join us to support keen learners
  • a positive, proactive and enthusiastic person
  • someone who is able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • someone with high expectations and belief that all children can achieve

Please send in your application as soon as possible and outline any experiences of working with children and any interventions you may have led. Applications will be reviewed as soon as we receive them even if this is prior to the application close date.

The role is for 30 hours a week (8:45am - 3:15pm with 30 min unpaid lunch break), 39 weeks per year
