We are looking for a Teaching Assisstant to join our team to cover a Maternity Leave period. This post will involve supporting in different classes through the school,s tarting in February 2026.

You must have a good pass in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent. 

The successful candidate will be able to inspire and enthuse children, getting the best from them through encouragement, support, endless belief and determination. We are looking for someone who can work under close direction whilst knowing when to show initiative and adaptability. 

As a school, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and the necessary checks will be made prior to employment. The successful candidate will also be expected to take part in safeguarding training during the course of their employment with the school.

Informal vists prior to application are very much encouraged.

Information about the school

We are a popular, single form entry Catholic primary school. In June 2025 we had a very successful Ofsted inspection in which we were judged ‘good’ in all categories. We have been part of the Kent Catholic Schools Partnership Trust since September 2022.

Year after year our academic results significantly exceed national averages, not only for high achievers but also for pupils with additional needs and those who receive pupil premium.

Built in 2005, and receiving the Royal Institute of British Architecture award, we are fortunate to have truly exceptional facilities set in the beautiful grounds of Brockhill Country Park in Hythe, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The classrooms are spacious, clean, modern and enjoy sea views. Coupled with this we are a stone’s throw from the beautiful and historic High Street in Hythe, The Royal Military Canal, The English Channel, The Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch miniature railway and the North Downs area of outstanding natural beauty. We are very fortunate to have close links to the secondary school next door which has a Farm, and adjacent is a Forest School which we have close links to.
