Are you a caring and confident Teaching Assistant looking to make a genuine difference?
Join our supportive and child-centered team at Priory Fields School, where children are at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking a warm, approachable, and proactive Teaching Assistant with a big heart and an open mind. If you are driven to create fun, inspiring opportunities that allow every child to flourish, then we want to hear from you.
As our newest team member, you will support children both in the classroom and through focused, small group sessions, working closely with the class teacher and SENCo. We believe that learning changes lives, and we're looking for someone who shares this passion and has the aspiration to continue developing their own skills.
The role:
  • 34 hours per week (8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.)
  • Includes running a rewarding after-school club one evening per week until 5:00 p.m.
We are looking for a team player who:
  • Embodies our school's values and puts children first.
  • Believes in the power of a wide and varied curriculum.
  • Spreads happiness and has a good sense of humour.
  • Demonstrates a genuine interest in, and sensitivity to, children's individual needs.
  • Has a positive impact on both the children you work with and the wider school community.
In return, we offer:
  • A friendly, dedicated, and supportive team that thrives on challenge and having fun together.
  • Happy and enthusiastic children who are eager to learn and grow.
  • Excellent professional development opportunities and a thorough induction programme.
We warmly welcome school visits or informal chats about the post. To arrange this, please contact Katie Banes at Priory Fields.
