About Us

We are a small, friendly SEN school with a truly nurturing, family-style atmosphere where everyone—staff and students alike—is known, valued, and supported. Our strength lies in our close-knit community: a team that works together with warmth, humour, and dedication to bring out the very best in every young person.

At our school, relationships come first. With small class sizes and a personalised approach, we create a safe and encouraging environment where students feel seen, understood, and able to thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally. It’s a truly special place to work, and we’re proud of the difference we make every day.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring KS3/4 Secondary Teacher to join our small, supportive team. The ability and willingness to teach across a range of subjects would be a real advantage.

This role would suit an experienced SEN practitioner or a teacher from a mainstream background who is eager to bring their creativity, empathy, and passion into a more nurturing setting. What matters most is your commitment to helping every young person achieve their potential, no matter where their starting point.

What We Offer

  • A genuinely warm, family-feel environment where you’ll be supported and appreciated

  • Small class sizes that allow you to build strong, meaningful relationships with students

  • The chance to teach a broad, engaging curriculum in a flexible and creative way

  • Ongoing professional development and opportunities to grow your skills

  • A place where your individuality and ideas are celebrated, and where you can make a real difference every single day

About You

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)

  • Experience teaching KS3/4, with flexibility to teach across other subjects

  • Patient, creative, and resilient—with a good sense of humour and a positive outlook

  • Passionate about inclusive education and helping young people reach their full potential

We warmly encourage all interested applicants to visit our school and experience for themselves the caring, vibrant community that makes it such a special place to teach and learn.
