Contract Type: Permanent, 42 weeks per year

Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week. Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm & Friday 8:00am-3:30pm

Salary: FST Grade H £28,668-£31,825 (£30,404-£33,752 FTE)

We are seeking a warm, organised, and professional Office Manager to be at the heart of our school’s daily operations. This vital role ensures that every pupil, parent, and visitor experiences the friendly and efficient welcome that Tiger is known for.

You will lead our administrative support functions, oversee attendance and admissions, manage extended day care and midday meals teams, and play a key role in maintaining the smooth running of our busy school office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the school’s administrative, reception, and clerical operations.
  • Oversee attendance and admissions processes in collaboration with the Headteacher.
  • Line manage lunchtime and Extended Day Care staff.
  • Support the Headteacher and senior team with communication, organisation, and school logistics.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance, including maintaining records on SIMs and managing school census requirements.
  • Manage office budgets, stock levels, and ordering of supplies.
  • Foster strong, positive relationships with staff, parents, and external partners.

The successful candidate will be an experienced administrator who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in being the welcoming face of the school.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Strong administrative background and excellent organisational skills.
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office and maintaining accurate records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and efficiently.
  • Experience supervising or managing staff.
  • Understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, and data protection.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a school setting.
  • Knowledge of SIMs, attendance, or admissions processes.
  • First Aid qualification (or willingness to train).
