We are looking to appoint an experienced Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, to initially work in Year 2. The job involves supporting pupils in Year 2 in the classroom and at lunch time.

The successful applicant will be employed on a part time, permanent contract for 30 hours per week over five school days, with 30 minutes for lunch each day. This will be arranged as follows:

The appointed post holder will also be expected to attend parents evening consultations at two points during the year, which will be paid as overtime.

Please note that this is term time only; and the successful applicant will be paid on Kent Scheme A pro rata. Appointment will be from as soon as possible.

Experience of working with children 3 -11 in either a school or pre-school setting is essential.

Sandling is a popular, high achieving, 2 form entry primary school in the north of Maidstone.
