Join our village school and let your light shine!

Woodchurch CE Primary is a small, rural Church of England school nestled in the heart of the Kent countryside. We are proud of our warm, inclusive ethos, strong community links, and commitment to ensuring every child is known, valued, and supported.

We are seeking a passionate, innovative KS2 teacher to join our team. You may be looking for a full-time role, or prefer part-time / job share — we are open to both, depending on the candidate.

Why Woodchurch might be the perfect fit for you:

  • Small, single-form entry school with class sizes capped at 26, enabling strong relationships and responsive teaching.

  • Beautiful rural setting, combining character and tradition with modern, well-resourced facilities.

  • Deeply rooted Christian ethos and connection to All Saints’ Church and the local community.

  • We are part of the Flourish Together Federation, collaborating closely with High Halden CE Primary for shared CPD, planning and support.

  • One day’s PPA every fortnight, with the flexibility to take it at home.

  • Strong support network: you’ll be joining a caring, collaborative staff who believe in professional growth and mutual support.

  • We welcome applicants of any specialism — your enthusiasm, creativity and commitment are what matter most.

We hope you will:

  • Inspire and engage children with exciting, differentiated learning.

  • Embrace and promote our Christian values and inclusive ethos.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across our federation, contributing to shared planning and CPD.

  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and the wider community.

Visits are warmly encouraged. Come and see what life at Woodchurch is like — see the classrooms, meet the children and team, and experience the atmosphere for yourself.

We look forward to hearing from passionate, caring professionals who want to contribute to our vibrant school family.
