Pierview Academy is Ofsted registered for 30 learners and as such class sizes are small, ranging from one to one teaching to classes of up to six learners. The school’s vision is to empower success through holistic and individualised learning.

We are excited to have this vacancy for an outstanding Assistant Headteacher. The post holder must have expertise in at least two of the following areas:

  • Primary Curriculum (design and teaching)
  • Secondary Curriculum (design and teaching)
  • SEND (incl. SENDCo responsibilities)

 

The postholder will be expected to:

  • fulfil the responsibilities of a teacher
  • mentor staff and hold others to account
  • contribute significantly to the school development plan and/or whole school curriculum leading
  • be ambitious for the learning outcomes for all learners across the school
