Do you have exceptional communication and administrative skills, either in a school-based setting or within the business world? If so, Luton Primary School could be for you!

We are looking for an Admissions Officer to manage the pupil admissions process for key entry points, as well as applications for in-year casual admissions across the school.  This will include all administrative tasks associated with admissions together with general office administration tasks such as updating the website and assisting with the day to day running of the office at busy periods.

You will also play a key role in promoting the school and attracting new pupils, providing an approachable and welcoming response to queries, and ensuring enquirers and applicants receive a positive first impression of the school. 

We are looking for someone who...

  • Relates well to children, parents and outside agencies and is able to establish good relationships
  • Is a team player and committed to the school
  • Has excellent organisation and communication skills and shows initiative
  • Has very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Has exceptional IT skills and is adept to data entry and knowledge
  • Is hardworking with substantial administrative experience
  • Will be comfortable working with databases such as SIMs (including working generally with Excel and Word documents).
