  • Working Pattern: 5 days per week (30 hours), 41 weeks per year, 8.30am – 3.30pm.
We are open to discussing alternative working patterns and can tailor the role accordingly, ensuring key financial responsibilities are covered.

  • School Holidays: Due to fiscal deadlines, you will need to work one week during the Easter break and one week during the summer break.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Ideally, experience in school financial management, payroll, and accountancy
  • Knowledge of school systems is an advantage, but support is available from our network of local schools if you are new to the sector
  • Ability to manage school finances, HR, and administration independently (we are not part of an academy chain)
  • A flexible, solutions-focused approach

Ideally you will have prior experience of school financial management. Having knowledge of the systems used in school would be a distinct advantage. However, we do have strong links to other local schools and there would be support available from experienced school Business Managers to help you should you be new to this type of role. So please don't be put off if you have never worked in a school before!

We have developed a role which suits a 5 day week, 41 weeks / year with a 8.30-3.30pm day. (30 hours / week). However, we have the flexibility provide a different working pattern, if you need that.
