In this role, you'll work directly with our students, helping them unlock their full potential. We also see this as a fantastic development opportunity for the right person. You'll gain valuable classroom experience by covering classes for a few hours a week, and you can claim for this extra responsibility. This is a fixed-term opportunity until July 2026 and offers an actual salary of £18,923 per annum (£25,185 full-time equivalent), working 32.5 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week inset.

Working with us: Leigh Academy Peninsula East is a small 1 form entry primary school in the beautiful village of Allhallows. We have at the core of our ethos the pursuit of the highest standards possible in education and we want to develop our pupils as well-rounded individuals and lifelong learners. We use the framework of the International Baccalaureate to deliver the National Curriculum and we are now an official IB World school. We work closely within our community, having developed links with Haven holiday park, Slough Fort and Allhallows Church. We are also lucky to have extensive outdoor grounds as well as a Nursery provision. We are proud of our digital strategy with all of our children in Key stage 2 having access to a one to one device to further enhance their learning experiences.

In May 2024, the Academy received a rating of ‘Good‘ from Ofsted. 'Pupils feel safe. They understand how to keep physically and mentally healthy. There is an emphasis on every pupil becoming a ‘digital citizen’. Pupils have access to individual technology to support their learning. As a result, the school has prioritised pupils’ learning about how to stay safe online.'
