EHCP Administrator

Location: St Nicholas School
Hours: 30 hours per week, 8:30am – 2:30pm, term time only
Salary: Kent Scheme C – Actual salary from £17,767 (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are looking to appoint a highly organised and motivated EHCP Administrator to join our team. This is a key role supporting the coordination of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), helping ensure our students receive the right support to thrive.

You will play an important part in planning and tracking annual reviews, liaising with staff, parents, and external professionals, and ensuring all paperwork is accurate and up to date. Strong administrative skills and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to manage a busy and varied workload.

What You’ll Do

  • Organise and monitor EHCP annual reviews (including Sixth Form).

  • Arrange and manage meetings, invitations, and supporting paperwork.

  • Liaise with teachers, parents, and external agencies.

  • Submit accurate documentation to the Local Authority.

  • Maintain electronic student files and records.

  • Provide line management to the EHCP Admin Assistant.

What We’re Looking For

  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.

  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and to deadlines.

  • Confident communicator with a positive “can do” attitude.

  • Experience or knowledge of the EHCP process (desirable).

  • Competence in Office 365.
