Leigh Academies Trust is seeking a highly motivated Marketing/Digital Apprentice to join our team. This role offers a vital supportive position in the development and delivery of high-quality, engaging digital content across various platforms. Aligned with the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship Standard, this opportunity provides hands-on experience and a structured learning journey to accelerate your professional development.

Key Responsibilities: Driving Digital Engagement

You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and our Web, Media, and Design teams to amplify our online presence and drive customer engagement.

  • Content Creation & Optimisation: Assist in creating, editing, and optimising content (video, visual, written) for key platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.

  • Website Management: Support the effective use of Content Management Systems (CMS) by adding and enhancing content across Trust and Academy websites.

  • Campaign Support & Analysis: Contribute to strategic content planning and assist with campaign collaboration, including using web and social media analytics tools to evaluate performance and inform future strategy.

  • Innovation & Research: Explore new technologies and research the latest marketing trends, particularly in education, including the responsible and effective use of AI models to streamline workflow.

Desired Skills and Attributes

We are looking for a driven team player with excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in digital marketing and emerging technologies.

  • Digital Proficiency: A foundational understanding of digital platforms, social media, and an interest in photography, filmmaking, and editing.

  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with content creation tools and a willingness to learn about copywriting, SEO techniques, and media asset management.

  • Professional Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proven ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
